Edition No. 6 is the final release in Macallan's limited edition series, inspired by the natural beauty of the Spey River and the Macallan estate. Each whisky barrel matures on the estate and is carefully selected by the distiller, using five different types of oak casks, giving it an antique brass color and rich aromas. This whisky features a bold bouquet of fresh fruits, complemented by notes of nutmeg, ginger, chocolate, and toffee. On the palate, it offers a sweet combination of plum and orange, balanced with cinnamon and oak. The finish is long-lasting, intertwining fresh fruit and spice aromas, ultimately revealing the smooth sweetness of chocolate and toasted oats.
