A prestigious Cuban cigar brand with over 150 years of history. José Gener, a Spanish immigrant, founded the company in 1865. Derived its name from the tobacco plantation that produced the excellent leaves used in the brand. After being purchased by the Fernández family in the early 20th century, the company carried on using the traditional methods established by Gener to produce cigars that were creamy, balanced, and smooth. Still one of the most renowned Cuban cigar brands in the world is Hoyo de Monterrey.
