The Partagas Royales Travel Humidor is an exclusive release for the Duty Free and Travel Retail channels, issued for the 180th anniversary of Partagás. Habanos, S.A. presented it on 30 September 2025 at a gala dinner during the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes. It revives the name of an iconic 1960s Partagás format with a fresh, contemporary look, and it was designed to give the discerning traveller a memorable experience. The Royales is a parejo of 150 mm (5⅞") with a 48 ring gauge, known in the factory as Dichosos. It is totally handmade with long filler, using selected leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region of Pinar del Río, Cuba. Habanos describes it as robust and elegant, with a medium ring gauge and a format that stands out for its strength and personality. Tasting Profile: The cigar opens with a clean flavour on the first draw and evolves into subtle notes of cocoa and oak. The draw is excellent and the ash compact. The smoke is dense and rewarding, with a well-accentuated aftertaste, over roughly 45 to 60 minutes. Habanos recommends robust, long-aged spirits, especially those aged naturally in white oak barrels. Their notes of dried fruit, chocolate or vanilla complement the cocoa and oak character of the cigar. The Travel Humidor The Royales is presented in a travel humidor of 20 cigars, designed to preserve them so they can be enjoyed anytime, anywhere. Habanos says this lets the cigar show its best organoleptic characteristics. The humidor carries a commemorative 180th-anniversary ring and standing band, and each cigar wears a commemorative anniversary band and foot ribbon.
