The Ano 2024 Gran Toro cigar offers a well-balanced experience, enhanced by a 45-minute music piece composed by French musician Paul Montag. The idea for Montag to undertake the venture arose out of a conversation he had with Fred Vandermarliere, ceo of Vandermarliere Cigar Family, that started about the introspective power of both classical music and cigars. By scanning a QR code, enthusiasts can access Montag's album, making the experience of enjoying the cigar even more immersive. This Gran Toro cigar measures 5 ½ inches by 60 and features an Ecuadorian wrapper that encases a Nicaraguan binder and filler. With a medium to full-bodied profile, it highlights the unique characteristics of Nicaragua's Jalapa region. Cigars from this region are renowned for their refined flavors, featuring notes of pepper, cedar, and leather, with subtle hints of caramel and raisins. Production is limited to 10,000 boxes of 10 cigars for the U.S. market and 5,000 boxes of 10 cigars for the international market, totaling 150,000 cigars.
